Gianluca Marciano  Director
Born in Italy in 1976 Gianluca Marciano started to play piano at the age of 5. He made his debut with at the age of 13, playing Liszt's Piano Concerto No. 2. In the past five years he has embarked on his conducting career, Assistant Conductor at the Slovenian National Opera, Ljubljana. He is also a guest conductor of the Romanian Philharmonia, the Kiev Camerata and the Slovenian Soloists Chamber Orchestra. In 2006 he was invited as a late replacement by the Croatian Opera House, Zagreb, to conduct Nabucco without rehearsal, and they immediately re-engaged him as a conductor.   For LFO he has conducted la traviata and The Marriage of Figaro.

Jenny Miller Director
studied at the GSMD and at the National Opera Studio.  As a singer, her repertoire has ranged from Cherubino and Cenerentola to Azzucena, Carmen, and latterly in the dramatic soprano fach, Tosca and Brünnhilde. She has sung for most of the major opera houses in this country. Her work as a teacher and director has expanded in the past few years to include The Complete Singer summer programme. She recently directed a community Dido and Aeneas project.  She directed le nozze di Figaro for LFO last year and followed this with an advanced student performance of the same opera.
