Friends

Friends, Patrons and Benefactors Longborough Festival Opera is a registered charity.  At present, we receive no public subsidy and are wholly reliant on our box office income and the support of individuals, trusts and companies. This support is fundamental in building a sustainable future and enabling us to go on providing high-quality opera in the Cotswold countryside.

If you would like to support Longborough Festival Opera, becoming a Friend,  Patron or Benefactor enables you to have a special affinity with Longborough Festival Opera.

Friends
As a Friend, you will receive an early mailing of details of our forthcoming season and the opportunity to book your tickets before the general public, thus increasing the likelihood of you securing the seats you want.  You will also receive an autumn  newsletter from us, and if you choose, a newsletter from time to time by e-mail so you can keep in touch with all the out of season happenings.  During our season, Friends will be entitled to discounted access to the General  marquee.

The suggested minimum donation to become a friend is £50 - although we welcome more!

Patrons
Like our Friends, Patrons will receive an early mailing of the next season’s details and will be entitled to a premier booking period, placing you at the top of the queue for purchasing your tickets.  Additionally, in 2009, our central boxes will only be available to patrons and benefactors. Subject to availability you will have the opportunity to secure space in a dedicated marquee close to the Patrons Parking area, offering exceptional views over the Evenlode Valley, and will receive a complimentary programme. Donations are acknowledged in the programme. For each production, we hold a post-performance party for cast and crew, and you will have the opportunity to attend one.

The suggested minimum annual donation for a Patron is £200

Benefactors
In addition to the privileges outlined above, and an even earlier opportunity to book tickets. All donations by Patrons and Benefactors are acknowledged in the season’s programme and Benefactors can choose to have their support linked to a specific production.
